I have always envied musicians because they get together and jam, creating music as it comes, each riffing off of each other. As a visual artist I spend long days in my studio creating from within- and I love that.
What I have discovered is that I love art collaborations just as much. It is so exciting for me to create a space where two people can share thoughts, riffing off of one another to come up with visual ideas. The resulting artwork reflects two minds joining and captures that joyful interaction in paint on paper.
